First Grade Experience
The following skills themes are assessed on the first grade report card for each student:
Psychomotor skills:
Effort and Participation:
Personal and Social Responsibility:
- Uses proper form while throwing underhand to a stationary object.
- Demonstrates the ability to catch a self -tossed object in personal space.
- Demonstrates the ability to skip using proper form in general space
- Demonstrates the ability to roll in a forward direction using proper skill cues.
- Demonstrates the ability to dribble a ball with alternating hands while remaining in a stationary space
Effort and Participation:
- Prepared for class (sneakers), demonstrates appropriate participation and effort in class activities.
Personal and Social Responsibility:
- Accepts personal responsibility for safe participation and proper use of equipment without teacher reminders.
